Socks for Peripheral Neuropathy Foot Problems

What is peripheral neuropathy? Peripheral Neuropathy is a nerve condition that affects the arms, hands, legs, and (most often) the feet. The most common form of peripheral neuropathy is due to diabetes.

As patients develop diabetic neuropathy, they have a greater risk of developing skin ulceration-like sores and infections. Areas of corns and calluses on the feet represent areas of excessive friction or pressure - often the result of friction from shoes and socks.

While peripheral neuropathy has no cure, carefully selected socks can provide comfort and needed protection.
